Wellbeing in Wychavon: 2026 Community Scheme Relaunched
The Wellbeing in Wychavon Community Scheme - a fully funded and accredited mental health awareness programme - has relaunched for 2026.
Open to anyone living, working, or socialising in the Wychavon District (including Rous Lench residents), it aims to train participants to champion wellbeing in their communities, workplaces, and social circles, while learning to spot signs of poor mental health and signpost to appropriate support.
Focus groups for the training include:
- Men in rural areas, veterans, and lone workers.
- New parents and women experiencing postpartum or perimenopause changes.
- People with long-term conditions.
- Informal carers.
Training runs from February to March 2026, with the first session on 3 February, 10am–12pm.
To gain accreditation, participants complete five framework sessions (approx. 2 hours each, some online) plus three "Bolton" topic sessions. You can attend the Bolton sessions without pursuing full accreditation.
This is a great opportunity to build skills, support others, and strengthen community connections in Wychavon.
